Getting started
Key concepts
Before you dive straight in to using LinXmart, familiarise yourself with some of the key concepts that it is built on.
First, the detail describing the data in the system, categorising it, its data format and how it can be ingested:
All data loaded into the system are categorised by the above, but they are also put within the context of an Envelope. This may be purely conceptual if the data is loaded as a single text file, but an Envelope also represents a physical thing that can exist outside of the LinXmart system:
The loading of Envelopes and all other data ingestion takes place within the context of a siloed space called a Linkage Project. It is here that linkage settings can be configured, data is brought together and linkage maps created:
Tutorial
Now that you have an understanding of LinXmart's key concepts, time to get straight into a our Getting Started Tutorial!
This tutorial will get you going with your first linkage. Once you have completed that, take some time to read through the following article on how the linkage process works within LinXmart:
Where to from here?
There are plenty of guides available that cover different aspects of the system.
The tutorial walked you through one way of ingesting data into the system, but it is recommended that you read more on this in the following section:
